Trading Jaden

The existence of two currencies within Jade Dynasty drives the need for a mechanism through which the two can be fairly and impartially traded. To that end we have implemented the Jaden Trade.

The Jaden Trade can be accessed through Banker Etsuk in Sunstream City (199, 59).

Any player can access the Jaden Trade by talking to Banker Etsuk and selecting Jaden Trade option.

Any player can access the Jaden Trade by talking to Banker Etsuk and selecting Jaden Trade option.

Funds

In order to actively participate in the Jaden Trade you will first need to make a deposit of either in game Gold or Jaden into your Jaden Trade account. You can do this by clicking on the Deposit button in the bottom-right.

This will bring up an interface through which you can specify exactly how much Jaden or Gold you want to deposit in your trading account. You are not required to trade with all the currency you deposit. Currency in your trade account can be withdrawn or deposited at will.

Security Measures

The Jaden Trade has two independent security features to thwart unscrupulous individuals' efforts to steal from your account.

If anyone manages to login to your account and attempts to Withdraw or Deposit funds, they will have to wait until the timer on the Safety Lock feature expires. Until then, they will not be able to manipulate the contents of your Jaden Trade account.

The second method involves setting a password specifically for your Jaden Trade account. To do this, click on the Password button in the upper-right corner of the Jaden Trade interface. This will bring up a panel through which you can securely enter a password. At this point, whenever you open the Jaden Trade you will have to click the Unlock button and enter your password before you can begin.

Buying Jaden

To submit an order to buy Jaden, you must first select the Buy tab within the interface. Enter the price that you are willing to pay in Gold for each Jaden you wish to purchase. Specify the amount of Jaden you want to purchase and ensure that your Available Funds total equals or exceeds the cost of purchasing the number of Jaden you desire at your chosen price.

Note: A listing fee of 2% is applied to the transaction.

Selling Jaden

In order to sell Jaden, you must first select the Sell tab within the interface. Enter the amount that you wish to receive for each Jaden that you sell and then the amount of Jaden you wish to sell.

The Cash Acquired field will display the potential profit of the transaction based on the number of Jaden you are attempting to sell combined with the asking price.

Note: A listing fee of 2% is applied to the transaction.

Processing Orders

When you submit an order to buy Jaden, your offer will be compared to existing listings. If there are sell orders available which are equal to or below the rate at which you attempted to buy Jaden, those sell orders will be processed one at a time from lowest to highest until your order has been met or there are no other sell orders available which are within your price range.
