PvP
As is the nature of all living things, Humans and Athans alike constantly vie for control, and battle for supremacy-even amongst themselves.
For those who are more interested in dispatching their fellow players over battling monsters throughout the land, specific Realms are available to quench their bloodlust.
Note: Players who are LV30 or below cannot attack, or be attacked by other players.
While within one of the PvP designated Realms, you may customize the settings for which players you wish to attack by clicking on the PvP Settings button displayed in the upper-left corner of the interface, framing the character portrait.
From this interface, you may select which types of players you wish to be able to abstain from combat with.
Note: Any category of player which is has its option checked indicates that you do not wish to be able to attack that group.
Infamy
Infamy measures the number of players which you have killed in combat.
- Player Name
- Description
- White
- A players whose name appears in white denotes that they have not recently attacked another player, and has no infamy rating.
- Orange
- If a player attacks a white-named player, their name will turn orange. A white-named player receives no Infamy for killing an orange-named player. A red-named player on the other hand gains 1 Infamy for killing an orange-named player.
- Red
- A player's name becomes red after killing a white-named player. Killing a red-named player does not reduce or increase Infamy.
Note: You can also hold the [Ctrl] key to force your character to attack a player, overriding your current PvP Settings.
Having even the slightest amount of Infamy will cause Guardians of the Flame to attack you on sight.
Furthermore, if your Infamy value reaches 168 or higher, you will be confined within the Bloodrop Cave until you have atoned for your crimes.
Note: Your Infamy rating will slowly decrease, but only while you are logged in.
